Scared of the Dark

I really love our home.  It feels comfy and totally us, and we have so much happies that happen here. and the walls are filled with love and laughter.  But, I gotta secret.  I might be juss a lil afraid of da dark at night.  I don't like how the shadows of familiar things change into scary shapes.  And so as the sun starts to go down, and bedtime nears, I get a lil nervous.

My sisser Header likes to build, and so she decided to make some night lights to help.  She made adorable dinosaur night lights, in lotsa colors, and let me pick which one I wanted.  And so since i gotta nightlight now, m'not so scared.  My little dino buddy keeps da shadows away.  Fanks, Header!! 💗

Here he is in m'room.  :)  Isn't he cuuuute?

If you want your own nightlight, you can get one at this month's ATP, at my sister's booth, which is Remembers.  These are the colors available in the gacha.

My jammies are from CCC, in this round of shop hop.  :)

Pondering Life, the Uniberse, and the Cow on my Roof

I love Saturdays.  They are at the start of a weekend, and feel all fresh and free.  Today, though, I'm a little bit bored.  Everyone is busy, and there are no new shopping events I haven't been to.  So I got in my closet, and pulled out the hot air balloon my sissy gave me.  Flying up into the sky near the roof feels so exciting!!  And while I'm flyin up there, I feel sorta thinky.  I'm generall pondering Life, the Uniberse, and also the cow on our roof.  Her name is Guinivere.  My sissy Lissybug recently had a herd of cattle in my Daddy's room, and a flock of ferrets in the house.  This is not an unusual occurrence in the Flynn household.  We have flocked Daddy with flamingos, a live horse in his bed, goats everywhere....  My cousin Jack likes to have Rhino parties in the house, and he set a flock of sheep free in the house, as well as a flock of very loud ducks outside.  Oh, and squirrels.  Well, I'm forgettin lotsa animals, but you get the point.  😊

Anyway, Daddy told Bug to get the cows out of his room and outside.  And so Harriet made her way to our second floor deck to sleep. Another is in my sister Heather's Mommy's room.  And Guinivere somehow learned to climb a ladder, and now lives on the roof.

So I'm sittin here, flyin juss above our roof, and lookin at Guinivere, and what it all makes me think is, I rully love my family, and that Ima very lucky girl.  💓

If you wanna hot air balloon, you can get it from my sister Heather's store, Remembers.

My dress is the pink Yumi dress from Paper Damsels.  My bunny ears are from Half Deer.  And my glasses are from Tiny Trinkets at this month's limited 50.

Thinkin About Sanna

I love Chrissmas.  I mean, really, realllly love it.  We have like a zillion Chrissmas trees out, and penguins skatin on our pond, and reindeer, and carols going, etc.  And I looove Sanna.  He's my fwend!  Daddy says everyone is my fwend, and while dat's true, it doesn't make each friend any less special.

So, I sat down to write my friend a letter.  And as I was writing, I rembered how Sanna likes us to be good.  And I thought about a few pranks n stuff I pulled.  And I started to worry, even though Daddy says Sanna measures good by what's in your heart, not if you make any mistakes.  But, sometimes you do worry a little.

Then my friend Paige gaved me an early Chrissmas pressie.  And when I opened it, I laughed, cause it was a package of shirts filled with good things to tell Sanna.  It's awesome!!!  Ready lines, for those moments if Sanna asks awkward questions.  Like, The Elves Made Me Do It.  Try to Put Yourself in My Shoes.  Dear Santa, Define Good.  Dear Santa, It's a Long Story.  And lots of great other ones.  So I decided, I'm wearin these if I think I might bump into him.  Then I can just point to my shirt.

So, you don't need to worry.  Go ahead, write your letters, and go see Sanna!

You can get these life-saving shirts from Munchkins at Vicarious Youth's Christmas Village.  It comes in both Toddleedoo and Regular kids/SMB, and has a hud to change to 9 textures total.

My skirt is Lazo's Autumn Skirt, which was sold at Ninety-Nine this past month.  It will probably be available in their store soon.

My hair is Chibi from Chemistry, bought on MP.

Magic and Flying Beds, Oh My!!

Do you believe in magic?  We definitely do in our house.  There's magic everywhere, if only you look for it.

Well, in this case, we'd just watched this wonderful movie, based on a book, about a witch who puts a spell on a bedknob, as a gift to the children staying with her.  They go flying about England, and eventually help win a battle in World War II!

So, after the movie, my sister Heather's eyes lit up.  She had recently been shopping (or, building!), and she ran up the stairs to her room.  A moment later, she was back, and held up a bedknob.  It was glowing a bit, and we were all excited.  We ran into the nearest bedroom with a bedknob, and screwed it in.  Then, we all hopped on the bed (except Emily, who wasn't there), carefully uttered the words from the spell, and tapped it three times.  Next thing you know, the bed begins to shake, and we are flying through a night sky!!!!  Our landing adventure is for another day's post, but let me tell you, flying on a bed is wonnnderful!!!

The bed is by Remembers, and is being sold at this month's Kid to Kid Event.  It opened last night, but is temporarily having problems, because the time ban lines aren't properly down yet.  Hopefully soon, though, because there are lots of good things there.

The bed is sold as a wearable flying bed, or the bed which hovers, and has sits for 5.  It also contains a sound script when you touch the magic bedknob, and texture change hugs for the pillows and blanket.

Happy flying!!
